Scheduling : Navigation

In Cirkus there are multiple Schedule views, which can be used depending on the type of work you need to do.
The Main Schedule view contains an overview of all booked work, while the Project Schedule can give a zoomed out view of all the Projects, while the Project Details > Schedule shows all the booked work on an individual Project.
In each view there are preferences and options to help see the information, let’s take a look at each one

Main Schedule view

The main Cirkus Schedule shows Scheduled Tasks, Bookings and Milestones

Access the Main Schedule from the Schedule item in the left menu.

You can quickly switch between, Month, Week or Day view, or select a specific time range
On Mac, you can use arrow keys to scroll to the next or previous time range.

Mac Schedule Timline

On Web, you use the arrows at the top of the current date range, or the Options (...) menu to jump to a specific date.
On iOS, you can see both Timeline and Event Views, and swipe to scroll to the next or previous time range.

Workspace Schedule 

This view shows the Scheduled Tasks, Bookings and Milestones of the selected Workspace in a Timeline view.
It can also show greyed out unavailability blocks from Bookings or Tasks of other workspaces, or projects you have no permissions to see.

Personal Schedule

This view shows the Scheduled Tasks, Bookings where you are Booked, in a Timeline view.

Calendar View: Cirkus web only, in the Personal Schedule there are also options for Calendar based Month, Week, Day or List layout.

Projects > Schedule

This view shows an overview of the Scheduled Projects and Milestones of your Workspaces in a Timeline view.
Access the Projects> Schedule from the Projects item in the left menu. 
Then click Schedule on the bottom right to switch to the Timeline view of Projects.
A Project must have a start and end date to show in this view.


It’s possible to drag and drop to create a new project in this view from a placeholder with start and end dates set.

Project Details > Schedule tab

This view shows an overview of the Scheduled Subprojects, Tasks and Bookings of a single Project in a Timeline view.
To get to this view, double click on a Project in the Projects list (or click on the name on web) to open the Details, then go to the Schedule tab of the Project.
The Overview section will show any Subprojects which have a start and end time.
Below the overview is a list of bookable resources just like the main schedule, and the same navigation and Custom Views can be applied.
Bookings from other Projects show as grey boxes.
Personnel Bookings on the Workspace show in all Project schedules 


Calendar View: Cirkus web only, in the Project Schedule there are also options for Calendar based Month, Week, Day or List layout.

Project Details > Bookings tab contains a full list of Bookings on the project.
