Collaboration in Cirkus

With Cirkus, you can collaborate with your team and have task level discussions.
You can also attach files and share them with others.

Collaboration with task comments

If you are using the Cirkus Mac or cirkus.com on the web, to start a conversation, first click on “Tasks” in the Menu Bar.
Or access a Project and Click on the Tasks tab for this project. This opens the Tasks menu in the Content Viewer.

Next, select a Task on which you’d like to collaborate. In the Inspector, type your comment where it says “Add Comment”.

You can use the mention feature by typing the @ sign and selecting one or multiple team members.
You can also move the conversation into a private discussion and allow only “mentioned” colleagues to view the message. Once you’ve completed your comment, click Send or use the keyboard shortcut “Command + Enter” to submit your comment.

As your team starts to have a conversation around a given task, you’ll be able to see a visual timeline of the discussion, as well as the replies.

On your iPhone or iPad you can also see all task activity and comments, and add new comments and mentions on the go.

Click on the Activity tab in tasks to see the comment thread, and "Add Comment" to start collaborating.

File attachments and sharing

You can also add files and share them within the conversation by simply clicking the “add file” button and selecting any document that you’d like to attach to a task.
On web and Mac applications, you can also drag and drop to the file area to upload new files.

Select a file to view information about it in the inspector window.
Many file types can be previewed directly in Cirkus and all are available for download by simply dragging the file icon to your desktop.

On iOS devices you can view and  share files, text and photos directly to a cirkus task from your albums using the share with function.

Or you can upload files from your Camera roll, Camera, and  import files from shared locations in "My Files" such as Dropbox and Google  to share them on tasks with others.
