Company Templates

In Cirkus, Company Templates are predefined structures used to standardize the top level information for a Company across Projects. They allow users to create consistent company records by defining specific Fields such as name, description and custom attributes relevant to a Supplier, Client or other Organisation.

By using Company  Templates teams can quickly add new Companies without repeatedly entering the same details, improving efficiency and organization. They can also be customized to fit different workflows, ensuring that relevant information is always captured for each Company.

Elements of a Company Template

Using a template allows you to pre-populate Company elements that will automatically be applied to the Company when the template is applied. When configuring a template, all elements and fields (except Company Template Name) are optional. Any elements you leave blank/empty can be manually added to a Company later.

Info

Template Name: create a name for the CompanyTemplate
Template Description: information that explains what the template can be used for
Default Name: default name applied to the Companywhere this template is used
Default CompanyDescription: default description applied to the Company where this template is used

The fields tab outlines the default and custom fields of your template which you can add, reorder, edit, and remove.
You can show, hide and rename all fields on the Companies , as well as adding hints, and reordering how they show in the forms.
