Manage your Cirkus Subscription

When you signup to Cirkus, and create your first Workspace, you are on a Free plan.

If you chose to upgrade your workspace to Pro, you can enjoy lots of additional features such as resource scheduling, additional file space, and advanced search and export.
Cirkus Workspaces are billed by member. Only active members are counted towards workspace subscriptions.

In this article we cover the common subscription management tasks:


Note: You will need to be Administrator of the Workspace to manage the subscription


Upgrading your Workspace to Pro


Step 1: Log In to the Cirkus Web Application

  • Go to our web platform at http://cirkus.com and Log In to your Cirkus account.
    It is not possible to manage your Workspace from the iOS or Mac Applications.


Step 2: Go to your Workspace Administration page

  • Click the Workspaces menu item on the left, and click on the name of the Workspace you are trying to upgrade.
  • Click the Info tab for the Workspace, and click on "Start my Trial."



Step 3: Add Payment details

  • You will be directed to a payment page.
    First you will need to select the plan that you will move to after the 30-day trial has expired.
    You can select monthly or annual payments. the prices are per member
  • Fill in your payment details, optionally include your company tax information if you are a company.
    Click on "Start my 30-day Free Pro Trial" to submit your information.
  • Note: We do not sure any credit card information in Cirkus. Payment are processed by our payment provider Stripe.


Your credit card will not be charged to start the trial.
You can use the Pro features for free for those 30 days.
You will receive an email reminder 7 days before the end of the trial, at which time you can cancel your subscription at no cost.




Step 4:Confirm your subscription

  • You will be redirected back to your Workspace, where you will now see a badge indicating you are on a "Pro Trial".
  • You can also see the date of expiry of your trial.
    On that date you will be invoiced for the monthly or annual rate per member in your Workspace.


Updating your Payment method


Step 1: Log In to the Cirkus Web Application

  • Go to our web platform at http://cirkus.com and Log In to your Cirkus account.
    It is not possible to manage your Workspace from the iOS or Mac Applications.


Step 2: Go to your Workspace Administration page

  • Click the Workspaces menu item on the left, and click on the name of the Workspace you are trying to upgrade. 
  • Click the Info tab for the Workspace, and click on "Update Payment Method"


Step 3: Complete the new card information

  • You will be directed to a form where you can complete the card information.
    This information will be used for your next invoice.
    Note: We do not sure any credit card information in Cirkus. Payment are processed by our payment provider Stripe.


Cancelling your Pro Subscription

If for any reason you decide to cancel your Cirkus Pro subscription, you can do so at any time.

If you cancel your Pro subscription, your Workspace will become "read only".
You will still be able to access your data, but you will not be able to create new tasks and projects there.

  • Go to our web platform at http://cirkus.com and Log In to your Cirkus account.
    It is not possible to manage your Workspace from the iOS or Mac Applications.


Step 2: Go to your Workspace Administration page

  • Click the Workspaces menu item on the left, and click on the name of the Workspace you are trying to upgrade. 
  • Click the Info tab for the Workspace, and navigate to the "Subscription" section.
  • Click the button next to "Status" and choose "Cancel Subscription".
