If you want to add an external contractor or freelancer to collaborate with them, it's easy to choose the level of access they can have.
Adding them to cirkus allows you to assign tasks, share files and collaborate.
Depending on how you want to work with them, you have the option to invite them to a Project or your Workspace:
- Invite them to a Project (as a Guest) with the appropriate permissions if you donĀ“t need to give them access to task templates (requests) or add them to Workspace member groups.
You can choose between three different Project member profiles depending on what you want the freelancer to see and do in the projects:
-Administrators will have full membership and also access to the project configuration.
-Members can see all tasks and create new ones.
-Limited members can only see the project tasks that they are involved in.
To invite a freelancer to a project, open the project and navigate to the Members tab where you can add them by typing their e-mail address. Then choose a profile (and roles if required).
- Invite them to your Workspace with the appropriate permissions if you want them to be able to use all of the Workspace features. By choosing this option, you will be able to add the external contractors or freelancers to member groups and they will also have access to use the task templates from this Workspace in the projects where they collaborate.
As with Project level access, you can choose between three different Workspace member profiles according to what you want the freelancer to see and do in the Workspace:
-Administrators will have full access to the Workspace configuration and membership.
-Members can see all projects and also create new ones in the Workspace.
-Limited members can only see projects that they are involved in. This is the profile that you may prefer for freelancers as they will only have access to projects that they are invited to.
To add a member to a Workspace, open the Workspace and navigate to the Members tab where you can add them by typing their e-mail address.
