Cirkus user permissions

In Cirkus, you can control the level of access of users within Organizations and Projects.

At the Organization level, these permission profiles control access to the resources of the entire Organization.

There are three Organization profiles:

•    Administrator - Administrators can edit organization settings, add members, configure roles and groups, create task and project templates and add triggers.

•    Member: Members can view all organization information, create projects, create project templates, and utilize all organization features (roles, groups, tasks, and project templates).

•  Limited: Limited members can only view organization information in projects in which they are members and activities for tasks in which they are the assignee or creator. They can create projects, and use all organization features (roles, groups, tasks, and project templates).

Organization member profiles are selected when adding members to an organization, and existing profiles can be changed by clicking on the member's name to edit them.

At the Project level, there are similar permission profiles to those at the Organization level that will allow you to control access to the project resources.

There are three Project profiles:

•  Administrator: Administrators can edit project settings, add members, configure roles, add subprojects, as well as, create and assign tasks to project members.

•  Member: Members can view all project information; they can also create and assign tasks to project members.

• Limited: Limited members can view tasks assigned to themselves and their role(s); they can also view tasks created by themselves. Furthermore, they can create tasks and assign them to project members and roles.

Note, that Project Guests using any permission profile do not have access to Workspace features like Templates, Scheduling, etc.

Project member profiles can be selected when adding members to a project, and can be changed by clicking on the member's name.

Note: There is no transfer of permissions from Organization to Projects. For example, an Organization administrator does not have administrator access to the Projects within that Organization unless they are the creator of the projects.
